Not to copy you, Cindy, but yesterday on the way to the mailbox I spied my first bloom on my rose bush by the front porch. The first blooms are always so perfect. Later, when it's so bloomin' hot, the blooms don't look quite as fresh somehow. I just want to bury my nose in it and breathe in the sweet fragrance.
Oh Barb I know what you mean ... my rose garden has blooms popping here & there in all colors and fragrances ... one of God's wonderous gifts ... the colors also remind me of your paint box.
