Everyone has a favorite cooking corner where the miracles happen and the messes are made. This is mine. I love my little country kitchen; it's the only touch of country I have left other than my very tiny garden.

I have a magnetic knife strip like that. Very handy. It sounds like you're enjoying the simple pleasures, I think that is so important. I've never been into 'stuff'. I believe in putting more emphasis on food, time, family, friends, relationships, nature, etc. (not necissarily in that order)
