Yesterday, following a liesurely breakfast, we set out for the San Diego Temple. We desperately needed to visit the Distribution Center and hoped to be able to attend a session or two. Upon our arrival, we discovered that the temple was closed - most likely for the annual clean-up and refurbishing. While we were disappointed that our errand was thwarted, the excursion gave us a good three and a half hours of uninterrupted talk time. That, too, is a big blessing. All in all, it turned out to be a good day. We will check the schedule next time before we just assume it will be open.
What a beautiful picture Barb ... you do take exceptional pictures. Any time alone with your treasured mate is a blessing. So glad you had that uninterrupted time together ... something we all need to make a point to do. Thanks for the reminder.
